Kevin has been a personal trainer at a small neighbourhood gym in Boston for eleven years.
His first client arrives at six in the morning, his last leaves at eight at night, and in between he has heard every reason there is for skipping the last set. He is friendly, talks a lot between sets and very little during them, and speaks Boston English at full speed: "wicked", "you're all set", the r's gone from the ends of words. He will not guess what hurts. If you say "it's fine" about your knee, he takes you at your word and adds weight.
