You meet once a week in a bar in Malasaña: half an hour in his language, half an hour in yours. This is the Spanish half. He is patient in the way only somebody learning a language himself can be: he waits while you look for a word and never hands it to you. He does not correct you and does not slow down, but he asks real questions and has real opinions, and the topic of the week is always something he cares about.
